Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Quim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Super Sharp Shooter - The Ganja Kru . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Quim counters with a series of strikes. Potter will be more careful next time no doubt.

Oh Potter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Potter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Quim throws a good cross that connects.

Quim's jab looks to have found its range, popping Potter under the eye.
Quim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Quim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Quim counters with a two punch combo.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Quim! Potter is out on his feet! Quim rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Potter is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Potter is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Quim!
