Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rony Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pais e Filhos-Legião Urbana. Jonasson tries to clinch but Rodrigues moves away
and Rodrigues counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rodrigues.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jonasson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Rodrigues is looking to pass into half guard but Jonasson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jonasson is in guard.

Jonasson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rodrigues swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jonasson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rodrigues manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rodrigues shoots for a takedown but Jonasson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Rodrigues counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
