The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin with a poor takedown
and Galustyan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Galustyan winds up and cracks Karelin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Karelin trying to control but Galustyan postures up.
Still in half guard, Galustyan seems content to control.
Galustyan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Galustyan passes to full mount!
Karelin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Galustyan on the ground.
Galustyan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Galustyan is landing with some decent strikes but Karelin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Karelin is rocked!
Galustyan lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Karelin! Galustyan sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Karelin and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
