Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valiant Thorr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valente Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha has chosen "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Valente Rocha enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Rocha as Thorr shoots in.
Nice straight punches there by Rocha. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rocha.
Thorr shoots in for a takedown but Rocha shows good takedown defense.
Rocha moves into the clinch.
Thorr can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valiant Thorr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thorr looking to throw knees to the head but Rocha is blocking nicely.

Thorr has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rocha avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rocha drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thorr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rocha pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Thorr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rocha is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rocha lands with a right to the head.
Rocha scores with a shoulder strike.
Rocha is pressed up against the cage. Thorr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocha down to the mat. Rocha avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rocha tries for a takedown but Thorr circles away easily
and Thorr counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

A short body shot lands from Rocha as the two fighters clinch.
Rocha fails to pull guard.
Rocha gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Thorr.
Rocha landing knees to the body.
Rocha cracks Thorr with a nice body shot.
Thorr has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rocha regains guard immediately.
Thorr trying to control the position from guard on top but Rocha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rocha keeping busy on the bottom but Thorr has passed one foot through into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rocha wants to improve his position but Thorr is controlling well.

Rocha has a hand on Thorr's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Thorr takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Thorr looking to finish Rocha with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rocha!
Rocha is working to get back to half guard.
Rocha throwing hammer fists to the chest of Thorr. What's that going to do exactly?
Rocha looks gassed!
Thorr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rocha has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rocha is looking to get to half guard.
Thorr landing strikes from the mount and Rocha is in trouble!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thorr prevents Rocha from getting the reversal.
Thorr working for a guillotine from mount but Rocha is in no mood to give up.
Thorr content just to control the position here.
Rocha wants to hold on but Thorr pushes him away.
Rocha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thorr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rocha is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thorr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Thorr looking for a guillotine from mount but Rocha is having none of it.
Rocha working to try and regain half guard.
Rocha tries to lock up and control but Thorr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Thorr is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Rocha is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Rocha flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Thorr anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Rocha and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Thorr slips an arm under Rocha chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Thorr has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Thorr is squeezing on Rocha like an anaconda would it's prey. Rocha fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Valiant Thorr!
