Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Demetrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anas Latrach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Demetrio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anas Latrach! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demetrio closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Latrach quickly recovers to half guard. Demetrio missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Latrach is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demetrio slows the pace down in half guard. Demetrio passes to full mount! Demetrio can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Latrach is looking to escape. BOOM! Demetrio connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's one minute gone in the round. Latrach is looking to improve his position but Demetrio isn't that keen on the idea. Demetrio controlling his opponent. Demetrio blocks Latrach's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Demetrio looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Demetrio controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Latrach is trying to stand up. Demetrio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Latrach is bucking up trying to escape but Demetrio cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Demetrio tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Latrach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Demetrio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Demetrio lands a big shot there that rocks Latrach but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Demetrio controlling from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Latrach is trying to reverse the position but instead Demetrio has taken his back - oops!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Latrach won't enjoy being in this position. Demetrio looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Latrach is tapping - it's over boys! Demetrio picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chris Demetrio!
