Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Travis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baekjae Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donovan Travis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Baekjae Kim!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim shoots in and bounces Travis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kim with a nice head shot there.
Kim working some strikes from top position.
Kim working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Travis's head.
Kim cracks Travis with a solid left hand.
Kim postures up and lands a big shot to Travis's brow.
Travis can't keep his opponent in guard - Kim advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nice strikes from Kim there.
Kim is nestled in close to Travis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Travis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kim lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim lands strikes from half guard.
Kim wants to pass the guard but Travis is defending well.
Kim scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Kim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Travis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Travis won't allow Kim to pass to mount.
Travis is looking for a sweep. Kim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim is taking a breather. Travis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Travis wants to get back to full guard.
Kim content to control rather than advance.
Kim seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Baekjae Kim hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kim throws a leg kick that is checked
and Travis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kim wants the takedown. Travis is fighting it off but Kim persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Travis's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Travis is looking for a triangle here but Kim uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Travis tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Kim easily slips into full mount!
Travis is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Travis tries to control the position but Kim now has his back.
Kim working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Travis is doing well to defend. Kim seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Travis is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Baekjae Kim!
