Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between AJ Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Leben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes to the cage accompanied by I Still Believe. Leben is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skrillex - Kyoto. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, AJ Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Leben! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Leben defends it nicely. Foster drives through with a takedown into guard. Leben keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully. Foster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster passes into half guard. Foster frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster tries to control but Leben wriggling away. Foster with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Foster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Leben to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Leben shrugs it off. Leben tries to lock up and control but Foster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Foster is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Leben is surviving well by controlling Foster's body position as best he can. Foster fails to move to back control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Leben looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Foster! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). AJ Foster! Our winner, AJ Foster, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
