Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitaliy Suchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is VOICES. Vitaliy Suchev has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suchev misses with a few strikes there.
Suchev tries to sprawl but Orton drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Suchev tries to kick Orton off but Orton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Suchev kicks off Orton and gets to his feet.
Suchev lands a jab-cross combination.
Orton fails to land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Suchev. Those never looked like landing.
Suchev misses with a double jab.
Suchev keeps the fight on the outside.

Orton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vitaliy Suchev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Suchev falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Orton to counter with a crisp jab.
Suchev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Suchev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Orton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Randy Orton has been cut.

Suchev's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Suchev duly obliges.
Suchev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Orton circles away quickly and effectively.
Suchev throws a right hand that Orton ducks under and follows up with a left that Orton also avoids with ease.
Orton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Suchev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orton.

so Orton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Orton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Suchev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Suchev wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Orton manages to pass to side control.
Suchev looks like he's trying to stand up.
Orton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Suchev defends it well.

Orton has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Suchev defend it? Orton steps over the head and cranks it - Suchev is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Orton!
