The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bato cracks Steamboat with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Steamboat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Steamboat throws the left hand but Bato avoids the punch easily.
Bato misses with a wild body shot.
Bato connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Steamboat momentarily.
Bato swings for the body but Steamboat moves out of range.
Steamboat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bato swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Steamboat throws a jab when Bato was well out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steamboat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ricky Steamboat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bato lands with a nice combination. Steamboat backs away looking to recover.
Steamboat is looking to clinch but Bato is avoiding it.

Bato throws a monster overhand right that drops Steamboat! Bato follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
