Alderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Szczecinski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alderson tries to clinch but Szczecinski is having none of it.

Alderson closes the distance and clinches.
Alderson tries to break free but Szczecinski pushes him back against the cage.

Alderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Alderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Szczecinski's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Alderson is trying to control the action in half guard but Szczecinski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alderson connects with a nice short shot to Szczecinski's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alderson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Szczecinski has hold of Alderson's hands but Alderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Alderson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Szczecinski could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alderson has cracked it and Szczecinski is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alderson!
