Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles has chosen MercyMe- You Are I Am as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Styles's head.
Prince moves away from the strike by Styles.
Prince displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Styles.
Prince drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Styles is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Styles keeping moving, preventing Prince from controlling successfully.
Styles has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Prince off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Styles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Prince as he avoids it easily.
Styles goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Styles fails with a takedown attempt.
James Prince has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Styles.
Prince throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Prince bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Styles sneaks out the side door and pushes Prince away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Styles should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Styles looks winded!
Styles throws the left hand but Prince avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Styles circles away from the clinch attempt.
Prince shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Styles manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Prince pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Styles is keeping the position for now.
Styles keeping moving, preventing Prince from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Styles is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Prince tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Styles just stands there and leans against the cage.
Styles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Prince lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Prince tries to bum rush Styles with a series of wild strikes but Styles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prince takes a swing at Styles's ribcage but misses.
Prince will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Styles looks for a takedown but Prince sprawls well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Styles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Prince shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Styles defends it nicely.
Styles drives through and clinches with Prince against the cage.
Prince looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Styles blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Prince tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Styles avoids it.
Prince has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Prince is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Prince is fighting off a takedown attempt but Styles is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Prince to the mat. Prince regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Styles makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Styles thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Styles stands and steps away. Prince gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Prince lands a nice leg kick that just misses Styles's sensitive parts.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Prince.
Prince throws a head kick but Styles moves out of range.
Prince stuffs the takedown attempt from Styles. Styles gets slowly back to his feet.
Styles throws a shot from downtown. Prince moves away and avoids it.
Styles clinches.
Styles goes for a takedown in the clinch but Prince prevents it.
Prince tries to land a knee to the head but Styles blocks with his arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Prince is trying to break the clinch but Styles is controlling him.
Styles prevents the takedown attempt.
Styles wants the takedown. Prince is fighting it off but Styles persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Prince's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prince trying to keep a closed guard but Styles is proving a slippery customer.
Styles decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Prince rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Styles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Styles has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Prince.
Prince throws a nice looking combination but Styles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Styles dodges the punch combination from Prince.
Styles throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Prince was covering up waiting for the punch and Styles finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Prince knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Styles on the ground.
Styles drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Styles as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Prince screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Styles! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). AJ Styles!
AJ Styles took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
