Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Barton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Daniels! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barton works over Daniels's head and body with a nice combination. Barton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Daniels paws at him with a jab and circles away. Barton dodges the punch combination from Daniels.

Daniels gets the takedown into side control. Barton is looking for a sweep. Daniels scores with punches from side control. Daniels trying to control the action but Barton is working from the bottom. Daniels throwing shots but missing, from side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Barton is not content to let Daniels control the position. Barton tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barton is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Barton is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Barton decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Daniels takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barton feints and as Daniels raises his hands in defense, Barton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels trying to control the position.
Daniels has a closed guard, preventing Barton from standing up. Daniels keeping moving, preventing Barton from controlling successfully. Barton is breathing heavily.

Daniels has his foot on Barton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barton works his way back into a safe position though. Barton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Barton trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barton stays in close to Daniels's body and controls the position. Daniels seems keen to control Barton's posture. Barton postures up in Daniels's guard and throws a big left but Daniels blocks it. Daniels is trying to keep Barton in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barton wanted to stand there but Daniels had control of the position. Daniels trying to keep a closed guard but Barton is proving a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Daniels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Barton is rocked!
It looks like Eli Barton has been cut. Daniels lands a jab-cross combination. Oh Barton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Daniels rushes Barton and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Daniels is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels gets a clinch. Barton seems to have got his legs back now. Daniels is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Barton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Knees in the clinch landing for Daniels.
Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Daniels lands a takedown into guard.
Daniels trying to control the position from guard on top but Barton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daniels is pushing down on Barton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barton is fighting to maintain full guard but Daniels has managed to sneak the leg through. Barton is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. It looks like Daniels is going to stand back up.

Daniels is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barton is just riding it out for now. Daniels eventually gives up the hold. Barton preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Daniels missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Barton is looking to improve his position.
Daniels passes to full mount! A nice elbow there by Daniels. Barton tries to hold on but Daniels pushes him away. Daniels is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt and Daniels counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Daniels on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Daniels drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Daniels is looking to work some ground and pound but Barton has wrist control. Barton wants to sweep here but Daniels controlling him for the moment. Daniels postures up.

Daniels slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Daniels passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Barton! Barton wants to control but Daniels is having none of it.

Barton tries to hold on but Daniels postures up. Barton is squirming around, avoiding Daniels's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eli Barton's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Daniels sprawls well initially but Barton persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Barton wants to control but Daniels is keeping him busy. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Barton in particular looking to stall. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Daniels is trying to maintain the position but Barton is very close to passing his half guard. Eddie Daniels has got the better of the ground game so far. Barton is looking to take a break and control but Daniels is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Barton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels goes for a takedown attempt but Barton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Barton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniels but Daniels pushes him off and we're back to square one. Daniels tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Daniels lands a with a good body shot. Barton gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Barton blocks an elbow strike. Daniels has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Daniels comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Daniels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
