Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikki Tavarius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavarius comes to the cage accompanied by It Dont Come Easy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kent's choice of entrance music: I'll be Back. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rikki Tavarius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Kent! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tavarius was well out of range. Poor timing from Kent. Tavarius takes one on the button.
It looks like Rikki Tavarius has been cut. Tavarius displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kent throws out the jab. Tavarius feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kent's calf. Kent throws a body punch but Tavarius moves out of range. Tavarius tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kent was well out of range. Poor timing from Tavarius. Peter Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kent clinches. Tavarius misses with a short punch on the inside. Tavarius lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kent backwards. A frustrated look appears on Kent's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tavarius is trying to drag Kent to the mat but Kent just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kent has had enough of the clinch but Tavarius keeps him there for the moment. Kent lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tavarius avoids the body shot from Kent.
Tavarius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A jab lands there for Tavarius.
It looks like Peter Kent has been cut. Tavarius takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kent takes the fight into the clinch. Kent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kent throws a lazy uppercut
and Tavarius counters by moving into the clinch. Tavarius letting Kent take a breather here. Kent wants to break the clinch but can't.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kent. Tavarius lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tavarius scores with a shot to the side of Kent's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tavarius lands a body punch in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tavarius misses with a body punch.
Tavarius tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kent's elbow. Kent looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tavarius is looking for a takedown. Kent throws an elbow that misses.
Tavarius drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rikki Tavarius. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tavarius can't find room to land a body shot as Kent controls the action.
Kent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tavarius throws a chopping leg kick but Kent manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kent lands a body shot.
Tavarius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tavarius rather than just go for the knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent swings widly with a right hand
and Tavarius counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Tavarius moves out of range of the strikes. Kent avoids the body shot from Tavarius.
Kent throws an overhand right that lands on Tavarius's shoulder, as Tavarius tries to avoid the shot. Kent throws a right hand that misses
and Tavarius counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kent breaks the clinch.
Kent jabs at Tavarius's body. Kent closes the distance and pushes Tavarius back into the cage. Tavarius swings wildly with an uppercut but Kent uses good head movement to avoid it. Kent can't find room to land a body shot as Tavarius controls the action.
Tavarius misses with a body punch.
Kent has had enough of the clinch but Tavarius keeps him there for the moment. Kent has Tavarius pressed against the cage.
Kent prevents a body shot from Tavarius.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent prevents the takedown attempt.
Tavarius doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kent is trying to force a seperation but Tavarius has the dominant position. Kent is trying to break the clinch but Tavarius is controlling him. Tavarius tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Kent wants to break free but Tavarius has control.
Kent manages to break the clinch.
Kent drops Tavarius with a left right combo! Kent follows him down to the ground into side control.
Tavarius is rocked! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kent in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Tavarius looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Kent turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Kent! A relieved looking Peter Kent thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
