Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stepan Stepanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stepan Stepanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Ryder! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Stepanov with that takedown attempt. Stepanov moves into range and clinches up with Ryder. Stepanov controlling the action here for a moment.
Stepanov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stepanov shoots in for a takedown but Ryder shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ryder misses with a jab to the body
and Stepanov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ryder stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stepan Stepanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stepanov pinned against the cage. Stepanov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stepanov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stepanov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ryder defends it nicely. Stepanov with a poor takedown and Ryder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ryder trying to control but Stepanov is working from the bottom. Ryder is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryder slips nicely into half guard. Stepanov gets full guard. Ryder gets to his feet. Stepanov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Stepanov slaps away a takedown attempt from Ryder, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stepanov clinches with his opponent.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Stepanov. Stepanov tightens his grip and picks Ryder up, before dumping him to the ground. Ryder manages to land in guard. Ryder tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryder pushes Stepanov off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stepanov throws a right and a left that both miss. Stepanov is breathing heavily. Ryder shoots in for a double leg but Stepanov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stepanov gets a clinch. Stepanov breaks from the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stepanov. Stepanov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ryder looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stepanov is fending him off so far but Ryder persists. Nope, Stepanov circles away and we're back to standing. Ryder changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stepanov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Stepanov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ryder asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ryder is looking to take a break and control but Stepanov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stepanov is pushing Ryder's head away, looking to escape. Ryder manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryder stands up. Nice sprawl there from Ryder as Stepanov shoots in. Stepanov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ryder tries to clinch but Stepanov moves out of range. Ryder fails with a takedown attempt. Stepanov defending well as Ryder loads up on a big left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Stepanov or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryder which made him look bad. Stepanov rushes Ryder and presses him up against the cage. Ryder throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Stepanov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ryder pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ryder tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ryder is looking to control Stepanov's arms but Stepanov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ryder has his back to the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stepanov breaks from the clinch.
Stepanov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stepanov lands in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stepanov trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alexander Ryder will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stepanov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ryder. Ryder swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Stepanov in side control lands a decent elbow. Ryder is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Stepanov lands a few punches from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Stepanov working the ground and pound. Stepanov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ryder is breathing heavily. Stepanov lands an elbow. Stepanov is putting a hurting on Ryder here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder is looking for a sweep. Stepanov advances to mount. Stepanov cracks Ryder with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Stepanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ryder is squirming around, avoiding Stepanov's attempts to control the action. Ryder can't escape the position.
Stepanov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ryder's face.
Ryder is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stepanov unloading with bombs! Ryder is still in real trouble! Can Stepanov finish him? Stepanov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Stepanov postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Ryder bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Stepanov and the fight is over!
