Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sabaton- Metal machine. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Dan Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Jaa! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaa tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jaa misses with a few strikes there.
Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Smith throws an elbow but Jaa slips to the side and avoids it well. Jaa is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Smith has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sloppy strikes there by Smith. Smith cracks Jaa with a big elbow. Jaa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smith asserts his dominance and retains side control. Smith throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Jaa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jaa tries to escape but Smith is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith trying to control the action but Jaa is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jaa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith is working Jaa over with some ground and pound from side control. Smith tries to score with some ground and pound. Jaa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Jaa pushes Smith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Smith controlling the position from side mount. Jaa is not content to let Smith control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jaa has escaped the position, nice work there. Smith working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Smith tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Smith prevents Jaa from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Jaa dodges the ground and pound from Smith. Jaa wants to get back to his feet but Smith drags him back down. Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Smith postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Smith looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Smith cracks Jaa with a big elbow. Smith sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jaa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smith asserts his dominance and retains side control. Jaa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith trying to control the action but Jaa is working from the bottom. Smith cracks Jaa with a big right hand but Jaa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Smith scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jaa to see if he's OK. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jaa pushes Smith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Smith trying to control the position but Jaa is working away. Jaa ducks under a wild hook from Smith. Decent striking displayed by Smith there. Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tony Jaa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smith misses with a wild body shot. Dan Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Jaa. Smith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Smith prevents Jaa from standing back up.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Jaa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jaa pushes Smith off and gets back to his feet. Smith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jaa to the ground. Smith is now in Jaa's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith stays in close to Jaa's body and controls the position. Jaa wants to get back to his feet but Smith is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jaa keeps working. Smith moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Jaa is trying to stand back up. Jaa bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jaa was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith. Jaa tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range. Smith dives in and grabs Jaa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jaa pushes down on Smith's head and hops out. Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Smith with a jab. Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jaa misses with a wild combination.
Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook. Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jaa moves into the clinch. Jaa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jaa tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jaa defends it nicely. A punch lands to the side of Jaa 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jaa throws a nice head kick!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jaa is looking to chop away at Smith's legs. Jaa ducks under a wild hook from Smith. Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jaa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jaa throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Jaa. No joy for Smith on that attempt. Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jaa circles away. Smith shoots in but Jaa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jaa tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jaa to the ground. Jaa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Smith scores with a punch to the head. Smith digs a good body shot into Jaa's ribs. Jaa misses with a two punch combination.
Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing. Nice cross by Smith. Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaa's waist but Jaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaa closes the distance and pushes Smith back into the cage. Smith tries to pull guard but Jaa won't allow it.
Jaa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jaa wants to clinch. Jaa has momentary wrist control but Smith slips an elbow through the middle. Smith throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Smith wants to control from the top but Jaa keeps moving. Jaa avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Smith is in close to Jaa's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jaa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jaa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Jaa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jaa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smith is controlling him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith postures up and lands a big shot to Jaa's brow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith advances position into side control! Tony Jaa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Smith is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Smith is chipping away with strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Smith showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smith, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
