Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joash Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Fox!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fox looking to score a takedown here. Walker is defending well but Fox drives through and ends up in Walker's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fox controls from within his opponent's guard.
Walker has a closed guard, preventing Fox from standing up.
Walker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fox.
Walker is trying to keep Fox in close.

Walker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fox defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fox gets to his feet. Walker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Joash Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Walker does no damage.

Fox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Walker wants to get back to his feet.
Walker gets back to full guard.

Fox looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Walker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox trying to control but Walker is working from the bottom.

Walker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fox defends it easily.

Fox gets to his feet. Walker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Walker just misses with a punch to the body.
Walker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fox's head.
Fox avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker cracks Fox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker thuds his shin into the meat of Fox's side.
Fox looks winded!
Fox throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
Walker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fox has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Walker scores with a shot to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - Walker finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Joash Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walker throws a leg kick which misses Fox's front leg but catches the back leg as Fox tries to avoid it.
Fox takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fox is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Walker scores with a leg kick.
Walker throws a right hand that Fox ducks under and follows up with a left that Fox also avoids with ease.
A chopping leg kick lands by Walker.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fox.
Walker scores with a leg kick.
Walker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fox takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Walker thows a body kick. Fox tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Walker, as that shot connected.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Walker.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Walker works Fox's body with a nice hook.
Walker scores with a nice body kick.
Walker swinging wildly here.
Walker throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fox dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Walker throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fox on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A left and a right from Walker both land. Nice combination.
Walker lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Fox falls backwards - clearly groggy! Walker dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joash Walker!
Our winner, Joash Walker, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
