Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riku Noitalahti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzo has chosen White Rabbit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Riku Noitalahti has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Riku Noitalahti seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Doctor Gonzo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noitalahti throws a looping overhand right but Gonzo ducks down to avoid it.
Noitalahti throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Doctor Gonzo has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gonzo.
Noitalahti fails to land with a series of punches.
Noitalahti lands a high kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gonzo throws a jab but it's blocked by Noitalahti.
Noitalahti misses with a double jab.
Noitalahti throws a right hand that Gonzo ducks under and follows up with a left that Gonzo also avoids with ease.
Gonzo misses with a looping left.
Gonzo misses with an uppercut
and Noitalahti counters with a stiff right hand.
Noitalahti fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Noitalahti stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzo. Gonzo gets slowly back to his feet.
Noitalahti misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzo shoots in but no luck this time.
Riku Noitalahti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doctor Gonzo.
Gonzo throws a poor cross that misses
and Noitalahti counters with a head kick. That will keep Gonzo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Noitalahti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gonzo shoots in looking for a takedown. Noitalahti tries to sprawl out of it but Gonzo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noitalahti manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gonzo finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Noitalahti's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Gonzo falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riku Noitalahti!
