Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nightwing Grayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaxell Corzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nightwing Grayson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corzo slaps away a takedown attempt from Grayson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Corzo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Corzo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Corzo drives through and clinches with Grayson against the cage.
Grayson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Corzo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Corzo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Corzo tries for a takedown but Grayson manages to get underhooks.
Corzo has clasped his hands together around Grayson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Corzo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corzo fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Grayson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Corzo scores with a couple of short elbows.

Grayson dodges the ground and pound from Corzo.
Grayson trying his best to control but Corzo has mounted him.
Grayson wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Corzo.

Grayson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corzo on the ground.
Grayson wants to hold on but Corzo pushes him away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Corzo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Grayson tries to reverse the position but Corzo maintains control.
Corzo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Oh Grayson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grayson is breathing heavily.
Corzo lands a heavy elbow.
Corzo cracks Grayson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Corzo postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Grayson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Corzo and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaxell Corzo!
A relieved looking Aaxell Corzo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
