Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick James Magnaye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo has a takedown stuffed.
Polo tries to clinch but Magnaye moves out of range.
Polo fails with a takedown attempt.

Magnaye feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Magnaye postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Polo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Magnaye on the ground.
Magnaye content to stall in guard here.
It looks like Magnaye might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Magnaye passes Polo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Magnaye's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Magnaye wants to pass to mount but Polo is defending the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Derrick James Magnaye wasn't active enough on the ground.
Polo avoids the body shot from Magnaye.
Polo misses with a takedown

and Magnaye counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Polo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Polo is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Magnaye has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Magnaye lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Polo tries to hold on but Magnaye postures up.

Magnaye quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Magnaye but it's paid off an Polo is forced to tap! Nice work by Magnaye.
