The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gordon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Miller stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Miller doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gordon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gordon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gordon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch but Miller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gordon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miller dives on top into guard.
Miller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Miller is working Gordon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gordon to the ground. Miller is now in Gordon's guard.
Gordon looks winded!

Miller stands up and waves to Gordon to follow him.
Gordon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

Miller gets to his feet - Gordon follows without any prompting.

Miller feints and as Gordon raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gordon is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Miller throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gordons head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miller is trying to break the clinch but Gordon is controlling him.

Miller pulls Gordon into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Miller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gordon avoids it really well and circles away.
Gordon looks to land a combination. Miller sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Gordon tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gordon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gordon throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Miller just wasn't active enough.
Miller fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Gordon which made him look bad.
Miller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gordon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gordon wants to get back to his feet.

Miller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Miller is trying to control. Gordon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gordon wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.

Miller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gordon to get to his feet.
Miller dives in and grabs Gordon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gordon pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gordon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gordon fails to land the takedown.

Miller manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gordon on his heels. He'll look to pass Gordon's guard now, I'm sure.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gordon can do to turn this around?

Miller is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gordon looks calm but he's in trouble here. Miller gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gordon is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Miller lets go of the hold and Gordon can pop his arm back in it's socket.
