Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Stoppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Davis Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogg has chosen Last Ones Standing as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Willy Stoppers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jefferson Davis Hogg!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Stoppers.

It looks like Jefferson Davis Hogg has been cut.
Stoppers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Stoppers with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stoppers checks a leg kick.
Stoppers misses with a hook
and Hogg counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hogg lands with a shot to the body.
Hogg scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Stoppers walks into a straight right hand from Hogg.
Stoppers throws a looping overhand right but Hogg ducks down to avoid it.
Hogg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hogg jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hogg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Stoppers lands a nice looking body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hogg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hogg fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stoppers throws a low kick, looking for Hogg's leg but Hogg calmly moves out of range.
Stoppers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stoppers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hogg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hogg tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stoppers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hogg somewhat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stoppers moves out of range as Hogg throws a body kick.
Stoppers swings for the body but Hogg moves out of range.
Hogg attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A telegraphed right hand from Hogg misses the target.
Hogg throws a hook but Stoppers blocks it.
Stoppers cracks the inside of Hogg's front leg.
Stoppers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Hogg scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Willy Stoppers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stoppers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hogg shoots in looking for a takedown. Stoppers tries to sprawl out of it but Hogg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stoppers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hogg sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hogg looks winded!
Hogg looks to land a body kick but Stoppers moved away.
Hogg moves out of range of the body kick from Stoppers.
Stoppers keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hogg doesn't manage to clinch there - Stoppers circles away.

Hogg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hogg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stoppers.
Stoppers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hogg finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Stoppers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Stoppers as he connects with a hook.
Hogg looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hogg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stoppers moves away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hogg stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stoppers.
A decent looking cross lands there for Stoppers.
Hogg has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hogg moves in looking to clinch but Stoppers pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Stoppers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice body kick from Hogg.
Some wild striking there from Stoppers.
Hogg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stoppers.
Stoppers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hogg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stoppers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hogg.
Hogg throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hogg tries to close the distance and clinch but Stoppers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hogg tried to score with a low kick but Stoppers checks it.
Stoppers throws a jab but it's blocked by Hogg.

and Stoppers counters with a crisp one two that drops Hogg! Stoppers thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hogg to his feet! Hogg is in big trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Stoppers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Stoppers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stoppers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hogg is breathing heavily.
Stoppers lands a really nice looking cross but Hogg seems unphased.
Stoppers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hogg might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Stoppers has got the better of the exchanges.

Stoppers fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hogg on the side of the head.
Stoppers cracks Hogg with a good jab.
Stoppers jabs Hogg to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stoppers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Stoppers lands a big uppercut and Hogg crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hogg looks OK. Stoppers waves Hogg back to his feet!

Hogg is rocked!
Stoppers plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hogg to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hogg just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

After the fight, Willy Stoppers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
