The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko wants to clinch but Joseph slips to the side
and Joseph counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Emelianenko closes the distance and pushes Joseph back into the cage.
Emelianenko looking to throw knees to the head but Joseph is blocking nicely.
Joseph lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Emelianenko tries a knee to the head but Joseph blocks it.
Joseph can't find room to land a body shot as Emelianenko controls the action.
Joseph lands a body punch in the clinch.
Joseph makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Emelianenko throws a knee to the head but misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joseph digs a right hand into Emelianenko 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Emelianenko 's gas tank.
Joseph is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Oooooh!!! Joseph has knocked Emelianenko down with a huge combo! Joseph steps away and waves a wobbly Emelianenko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joseph cracks Emelianenko with a good jab.
Emelianenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Joseph finish him?
Joseph scoring well with a low kick there.
Good leg kick by Joseph there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Joseph cracks Emelianenko with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Emelianenko falls to his knees and Joseph doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Joseph!
Anthony Joseph really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that TFP Graphics - Pit Inc logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
