Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Daniel! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Profittt moves away. Daniel tries to bum rush Profittt with a series of wild strikes but Profittt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Profittt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daniel moves away. Profittt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Profittt swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniel. Daniel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Profittt counters by clinching up. Profittt breaks from the clinch.
Profittt looking to score a takedown here. Daniel is defending well but Profittt drives through and ends up in Daniel's guard. Profittt trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Daniel is trying to hold Profittt in close to prevent damage but Profittt has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Profittt controlling the action here. Profittt wants to free his trapped foot but Daniel is holding on for dear life with his legs. Daniel trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alex Daniel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Profittt throws a body punch but Daniel moves out of range. Daniel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Profittt manages to pull guard.
Daniel wants to control from the top but Profittt keeps moving. Profittt wants to stand but Daniel is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Profittt pushes Daniel off and gets back to his feet.
Profittt throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Profittt gets a double leg takedown into Daniel's guard. Daniel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Profittt is one step ahead there. Profittt throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniel working a defensive guard but Profittt manages to pass into side control anyway.
Profittt decides to stand back up. Profittt steps back and let's Daniel get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Profittt misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trent Profittt dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Daniel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Profittt is trying to stand back up but Daniel is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniel stalling away here and it's allowed Profittt to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Profittt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Profittt manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Daniel holds on to Profittt around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Profittt avoids the attempt from Daniel to control. Daniel looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Daniel trying to control the hands but Profittt won't let him. Daniel tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Profittt not allowing Daniel to control his hands. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Profittt is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Daniel has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Profittt has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Daniel taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Profittt doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trent Profittt! An out of breath Trent Profittt thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
