Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bumbus Bramble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Sandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandon misses with the combination.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sandon.
Bramble looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sandon is fending him off so far but Bramble persists. Nope, Sandon circles away and we're back to standing.
Sandon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bramble defends it nicely.
Bramble has Sandon up against the cage in a clinch.
Sandon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bramble smiles and moves away.
Bumbus Bramble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Sandon.
Sandon shoots for a double leg takedown but Bramble sprawls well. He's pushed Sandon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sandon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bramble tries to avoid it but Sandon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bramble to the ground. Bramble escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bramble is trying to control but can't.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bramble has a hand on Sandon's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sandon takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bramble moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bramble shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bramble will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sandon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bramble pinned against the cage. Bramble gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sandon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sandon is breathing heavily.

Sandon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bramble walks away with a smile on his face. Sandon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bramble fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sandon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bramble tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bramble escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sandon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bramble.
Sandon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bramble.

Bramble slaps away a takedown attempt from Sandon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sandon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sandon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bramble manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bramble shoots in but Sandon avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bramble could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bramble is looking to stand up but Sandon isn't so interested in that idea.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sandon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bramble has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bramble and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sandon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

I would just about give that final round to DJ Sandon.
