Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matias Nadal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari shoots in but no luck this time.
Nadal throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Imanari shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nadal defends it nicely.
Imanari closes the distance and clinches up with Nadal, looking for a takedown. Imanari pushes Nadal against the cage but Nadal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matias Nadal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshihiro Imanari.
Imanari closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nadal circles away.
Horrible takedown by Imanari or perhaps it was just good defense by Nadal which made him look bad.

Imanari tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nadal just stands there and leans against the cage.

Nadal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Imanari has had enough of the clinch but Nadal keeps him there for the moment.

Nadal wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Imanari has him pressed against the cage.

Nadal goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Imanari misses with a takedown attempt - Nadal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A right-left combo lands from Nadal.
No joy there for Nadal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nadal dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nadal throws a series of punches but Imanari avoids them all with ease.
Nadal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Imanari is rocked!
Nadal misses with a double jab
and Imanari counters with a big head kick but Nadal shrugs it off.
Imanari is still on wobbly legs! Can Nadal finish him?
Imanari is trying desperately to land a takedown but Nadal is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Imanari.
Nadal fails to land with a series of punches.
Imanari seems to have recovered his senses.

Sloppy strikes from Nadal. Those never looked like landing.
Nadal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nadal throws a series of punches but Imanari avoids them all with ease.
Imanari throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Imanari takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A left and a right from Nadal both land. Nice combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Imanari.
Nadal looks to land a combination but Imanari avoids it well.
Nadal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Imanari sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Imanari is looking to clinch.
Nadal stuffs the takedown.
Nadal is working the combinations to good effect here.

Imanari takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nadal throws a series of punches but Imanari avoids them all with ease.
Nadal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Imanari.
Imanari tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Imanari is defended easily by Nadal.
Nadal scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nadal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nadal moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nadal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nadal tries to bum rush Imanari with a series of wild strikes but Imanari uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matias Nadal dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nadal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Imanari counters with a body kick that stops Nadal in his tracks momentarily.
Imanari closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nadal to the mat! Nadal manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Imanari won't allow Nadal to get back to his feet.
Imanari sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nadal's guard.
Nadal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Imanari on the ground.
Imanari wants to work for an arm triangle but Nadal is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Imanari is trying for a kimura here. Nadal looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Imanari wins by kimura!
