The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wideroos thumps Zero with a low kick.
Zero shoots and misses
and Wideroos counters with a left and a right that stings Zero.
Wideroos cracks a nice hook into Zero's ribs.
Zero staying out of range there.
Wideroos closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zero walks forward, straight into a front kick from Wideroos.
Wideroos just misses with a punch to the body.
Zero tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zero misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zero is breathing heavily.
Wideroos stuffs the takedown attempt from Zero. Zero gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wideroos scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wideroos works Zero's body with a nice hook.
Max Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wideroos fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Zero gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wideroos counters with a nice uppercut.
An inside leg kick lands from Wideroos.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zero. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Wideroos pounces like a tiger and cracks Zero with a vicious hook! Zero is down but not out! Wideroos follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
