Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Marsden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collins comes to the cage accompanied by Beginning of the End. Marsden has chosen Bone Thugs N Harmony's Mo' Murda as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Dave Collins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Marsden! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsden looks to land a right hand but Collins moved out of range. Marsden misses with a takedown and Collins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marsden staying out of range there. Collins clobbers Marsden with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Collins swings for the body but Marsden moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Collins. That snapped Marsden's head back.
Marsden scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Collins makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Collins. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marsden slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Collins is looking to regain half guard here but Marsden keeps moving and retains side control. Collins is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Marsden is working for a submission of some sort.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Collins looking for submissions off his back. Marsden seems to be working for a kimura but Collins defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsden works his way into full mount! Marsden has control of Collins's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Collins regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Marsden wants to finish this one by submission but Collins is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Marsden. Collins tries to hold on but Marsden postures up. Collins really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsden swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Collins is now in Marsden's guard. A big mistake from Marsden there, giving up the dominant position! Collins scoring with some ground and pound. Marsden working for a triangle but Collins defends it easily.

Collins scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Marsden is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Collins defends well. Collins postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Collins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marsden utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Collins throws a big elbow that misses. Collins is looking to take a break and control but Marsden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Marsden is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Collins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Collins's back! Collins is really stuck here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dave Collins will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Marsden drops his hands momentarily and Collins takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Marsden throws a big shot that misses. Collins lands a glancing blow to the side of Marsden's head. Marsden misses with a wild body shot. Marsden moves into the clinch. Marsden is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Collins pulls him back up using the underhooks. A head punch blocked on the inside by Collins. Marsden lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Collins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marsden fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Marsden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins leaves Marsden with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Collins lands with a shot to the body. Collins lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Marsden at a distance.

Collins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marsden. Collins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
