Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaques Du Coudray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bak gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Du Coudray.
It looks like Jong Bak has been cut.
Du Coudray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bak has Du Coudray pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Du Coudray manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bak blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Du Coudray drops Bak with a big knee straight up the middle! Bak is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Du Coudray is looking to slow Bak down with leg kicks.
Du Coudray lands with a shot to the body.
Bak avoids a punch combination nicely.
Du Coudray feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bak's calf.
Bak gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Du Coudray gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bak is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaques Du Coudray!
In his post fight interview, Jaques Du Coudray started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
