Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Blackwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blackwood tries to avoid it but Joe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blackwood to the ground. Blackwood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Joe thows a left - swing and a miss!
Joe throws out a loose jab but Blackwood uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blackwood uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joe.
Joe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blackwood as he jumps to the side.
Joe throws a hook but Blackwood avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Joe enables Blackwood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Joe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Blackwood throws an elbow that misses. Joe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blackwood's guard. Nice move by Joe!

Joe is looking to work some ground and pound but Blackwood has wrist control.
Joe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Joe maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Blackwood could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Joe has cracked it and Blackwood is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Joe!
