Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Neil tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to reverse the position.
Neil wants to stand but Silva is controlling his arm.
Silva gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Neil defends it easily.

Neil's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Neil lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not.
