Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elias Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mott fails with the takedown.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mott.

Elias Figueroa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Mott.
Figueroa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mott tries to avoid it but Figueroa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mott to the ground. Mott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mott shoots in looking for a takedown. Figueroa tries to sprawl out of it but Mott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Figueroa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Figueroa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mott clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Figueroa doesn't have the hooks in and Mott manages to turn into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mott is on top in guard.
Figueroa throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mott escapes and throws Figueroa's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Mott lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Figueroa down.
Mott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Juan Mott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
