Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Mandrill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mandrill comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Luigi's song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mandrill counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hernandez's guard now.
Mandrill is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Mandrill makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mandrill wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.
Mandrill postures up in Hernandez's guard and throws a big left but Hernandez blocks it.
Mandrill sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hernandez's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mandrill drops an elbow to the side of Hernandez's head.
Hernandez trying to hold on to Mandrill's head to control him but Mandrill postures up.
Mandrill is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mandrill throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mandrill lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Nice strikes from Mandrill there.
Hernandez is rocked!

Oh Hernandez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mandrill scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Mandrill lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hernandez! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mandrill jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ludwig Mandrill decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
