Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gene Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dat Suk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Suk finds it's way through Anderson's defenses.
It looks like Gene Anderson has been cut.
Suk throws a nice outside leg kick.
Suk scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dat Suk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Suk lands but Anderson takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson shoots for a takedown but Suk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Suk clobbers Anderson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Suk lands a big head kick that sends Anderson tumbling to the mat! Suk takes a step backwards and waves Anderson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Anderson shoots in but Suk avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Suk lands a big uppercut and Anderson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Anderson looks OK. Suk waves Anderson back to his feet!

Suk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Anderson seems to have got his legs back now.

and Suk counters with a thumping low kick.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suk as he jumps to the side.

Suk comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Suk's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
