Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eragon Shaderslayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaderslayer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hardy is trying to pull guard but Shaderslayer has him pressed against the cage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Shaderslayer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hardy is controlling him.
Shaderslayer pulls Hardy in close to his closed guard and prevents Hardy from doing any damage or advancing position.

Hardy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shaderslayer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hardy has tightened it up now! Shaderslayer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Kevin Hardy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
