Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Massimo Caraglio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Ky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Ky is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Massimo Caraglio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Ky! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caraglio slips under a jab from Ky. Ky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Caraglio avoids it really well and circles away. Caraglio clinches with his opponent.
Ky swings wildly with an uppercut but Caraglio uses good head movement to avoid it. Caraglio lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Caraglio throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ky is trying to escape back to his feet but Caraglio uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Caraglio working the head and body with strikes. Ky wants to get back to his feet. Caraglio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ky can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ky is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Caraglio has just dragged him back down to the mat. Ky takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

After a battle for position, Caraglio asserts his dominance and retains side control. Caraglio is putting a hurting on Ky here, landing some big shots from side control. Caraglio landing strikes. Caraglio working away. Caraglio advances to mount. Caraglio cracks Ky with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caraglio won't let Ky get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. This has been an exciting period of action! Caraglio lands a couple of good shots and Ky has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Caraglio scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Ky keeps trying to improve his position. Caraglio tries to get the hooks in deep but Ky pushed the leg off. Ky defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Caraglio lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Caraglio.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ky staying busy and making it hard for Caraglio to control. Caraglio is punishing Ky with some ground and pound. Caraglio is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ky has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Caraglio has Ky flattened out and is raining down punches.

Caraglio has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ky has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Caraglio gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Caraglio gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Caraglio apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Ky tries to sprawl but Caraglio drives through with a takedown into half guard. Ky is looking to get back to is feet but Caraglio passes into side control.
Caraglio looks up at the clock and then as Ky takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Caraglio smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ky can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ky wants to get back to his feet. Caraglio works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ky takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Caraglio is looking to take a break and control but Ky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Massimo Caraglio dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Good shot there by Ky. Ky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caraglio moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Caraglio slips a jab and a cross from Ky.
A punch combination from Ky misses. Ky throws a nice looking combination but Caraglio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ky lands with a right hand. Ky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Caraglio.

Ky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Caraglio tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caraglio wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Caraglio manages to get back to half guard. Caraglio makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Caraglio. Caraglio tries to strike from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Caraglio is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Caraglio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Caraglio is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Caraglio won't allow Ky to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caraglio throws a big right hand that misses. Ky wants to stand and escape but Caraglio is having none of it. Caraglio postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Caraglio postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Caraglio stops Ky from standing up. Ky is breathing heavily. Caraglio scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ky looking to control.

Ky tries to roll over but Caraglio keeps him under control. Caraglio wants to take a breather but Ky is having none of it. Caraglio is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Caraglio tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ky knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Caraglio stops Ky from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Massimo Caraglio overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ky pushes Caraglio off but Caraglio dives into side control.
Caraglio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ky keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caraglio tries to move to mount but Ky blocks the move with his legs. Caraglio in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ky is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Caraglio has just dragged him back down to the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caraglio lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Caraglio cracks Ky with an elbow. That is naaassty. Caraglio looks up at the clock and then as Ky takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Caraglio smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ky looks to score with a jab to the body but Caraglio is just out of range. Ky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Caraglio circles away quickly and effectively. Caraglio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ky's half guard. Ky is staying active underneath Caraglio, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Caraglio thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Caraglio throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Ky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Caraglio prevents Ky from improving his position. Caraglio lands with a punch from half guard. Caraglio looking for the choke but no joy. Ky is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Caraglio gets his way!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Caraglio has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Ky. Caraglio working for a choke but Ky is defending well. Ky has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Caraglio controls the position. I really don't envy Ky right now.
Caraglio lands with a hammerfist to the side of Ky's head. Ky tries to escape but Caraglio has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caraglio looking for the choke from the back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is taking a good look at Ky as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Caraglio!

Tom Ky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Massimo Caraglio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ky is trying to get back to his feet but Caraglio has full control of the position and if anything, Ky has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that's the end of the fight! Massimo Caraglio showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Caraglio, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
