The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Womba shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Narushima pinned against the cage. Narushima gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Womba takes one to the side of the head.
Narushima dips to his left and cracks Womba with an uppercut!
Womba throws a jab when Narushima was well out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Narushima throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Narushima misses with a looping left.
Narushima lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Womba clobbers Narushima with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Narushima dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Womba blocks the body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Womba.
Womba will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Womba looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Narushima catches Womba with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Narushima throws a nice inside leg kick.
Womba walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Narushima throws a hook to the side of Womba's head but Womba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Womba moves out of range of the body kick from Narushima.

Narushima looks to land a combination but Womba avoids it well.
Narushima wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Womba smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Narushima slips under a jab.
Womba throws a chopping leg kick but Narushima manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A slapping leg kick lands for Womba.
Ryo Narushima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Narushima tries a head kick but it misses.
Womba takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Narushima is looking to chop away at Womba's legs.
Womba throws a leg kick that misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Narushima misses the target.

Narushima sends Womba crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Narushima is motioning to the referee to let Womba up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Narushima cracks Womba with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Narushima has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Womba to stand back up!

Womba is rocked!
Narushima missing with a left hand there. Womba was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Oh Womba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Narushima misses with a looping left.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Narushima.
Narushima takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Narushima closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Womba out cold! Womba corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
