Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerome McMann!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McMann rushes Pozinibbio and presses him up against the cage.
Pozinibbio goes for a takedown in the clinch but McMann prevents it.
McMann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pozinibbio.
Pozinibbio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McMann fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Pozinibbio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McMann stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McMann wants it to stay on the feet.
McMann closes the distance and clinches up with Pozinibbio, looking for a takedown. McMann pushes Pozinibbio against the cage but Pozinibbio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McMann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McMann scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

McMann gets underhooks to prevent Pozinibbio's takedown attempt.

A quick uppercut on the inside from McMann.
Pozinibbio is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McMann pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McMann stops a takedown attempt from Pozinibbio.
Pozinibbio is breathing heavily.
A nice right hand lands inside from McMann.
Pozinibbio goes for a takedown in the clinch but McMann prevents it.

Pozinibbio drops down looking for an ankle pick but McMann pulls his leg out and moves away.
McMann ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
McMann shoots in for a takedown but Pozinibbio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McMann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pozinibbio but Pozinibbio pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pozinibbio moves forwards but McMann connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pozinibbio takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

McMann shoots in looking for a takedown but Pozinibbio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McMann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oh Pozinibbio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pozinibbio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McMann sprawls well. McMann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pozinibbio gets slowly back to his feet.

McMann rushes Pozinibbio and presses him up against the cage.

McMann ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McMann no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

McMann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pozinibbio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jerome McMann hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

McMann jabs Pozinibbio right on the nose. Pozinibbio blinks but takes it well.
Pozinibbio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McMann defends it nicely.
McMann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pozinibbio sprawls well. Pozinibbio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McMann gets slowly back to his feet.

Pozinibbio goes for a takedown attempt but McMann pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McMann is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pozinibbio enables McMann to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pozinibbio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pozinibbio is looking for a triangle but McMann pushes his legs off easily.

McMann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Pozinibbio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McMann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McMann postures up in Pozinibbio's guard and throws a big left but Pozinibbio blocks it.
McMann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McMann is looking to work some ground and pound but Pozinibbio has wrist control.

Pozinibbio is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McMann has his hands clasped together but Pozinibbio extends an breaks McMann's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pozinibbio.

A less than humble Santiago Pozinibbio misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
