The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tangis.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.

Tangis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Tangis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tangis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tangis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.

A big strike lands for Tangis! That's really hurt Johnson and he's turned his back - Tangis keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tangis jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
