The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gru throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gray tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gray throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Gru closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Gru decides to stand back up.
Gray shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gru but Gru pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gray drives through and clinches with Gru against the cage.
Gru is trying to stall.

Gray drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gru preventing the sweep.
Gray is pulling down on Gru's head. It's preventing any offense from Gru, at least for the moment.
Gru sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gray's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gru in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gray tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gru!
