The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otherside works Springer's body with a nice hook.
Otherside scores with the left hand. Springer knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Geoff Springer has been cut.
Otherside scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Springer tries a head kick but it misses.

No joy there for Springer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Springer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Otherside connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Springer scrambles back to his feet.

Oh Springer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Otherside looks to land a right hand but Springer moved out of range.
Springer blocks a jab.
Geoff Springer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Springer backs away from a small jab... but Otherside lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Springer crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Otherside with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Mortis Otherside!
Mortis Otherside decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
