Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Commodore Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budiman Prang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Commodore Perry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Budiman Prang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Commodore Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Budiman Prang! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prang clinches with his opponent.
Perry scores with a shot to the side of Prang's head. Perry pushes off an throws an elbow but Prang leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Perry misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Prang is looking to break free of the clinch but Perry has double underhooks. Perry throws a punch but it's blocked by Prang. Perry lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Budiman Prang has been cut. Prang blocks a body shot from Perry. Prang avoiding damage as Perry throws knees to the body.
Perry lands a left hand that snaps the head of Prang backwards. Perry lands a damaging elbow. Perry using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Prang has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Perry throws a punch but it's blocked by Prang. Perry has a couple of punches blocked by Prang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prang tries to circle away but Perry has him pinned against the ropes. Prang breaks the clinch.
Prang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perry circles away quickly and effectively. Prang throws a push kick but Perry slaps the foot to one side. Perry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Prang manages to avoid it. Prang thows a left - swing and a miss! Perry walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Perry throws a hook but Prang avoids it easily. Prang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perry moves away. A slapping leg kick lands for Perry.
Perry connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Prang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Perry cracks Prang with a good jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Prang on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry looks for the body kick but Prang saw that one coming. Prang moves out of range as Perry strikes. Perry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Prang is rocked! Perry swinging wildly here.
Perry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Perry drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Perry throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Prang counters with a straight right hand. Perry moves out of range as Prang strikes. Perry closes the distance and clinches. Prang on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Perry misses with the head strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Prang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Commodore Perry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Budiman Prang's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Perry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Prang. Perry scoring well with a low kick there.
Perry walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Perry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Perry looks to score with a jab to the body but Prang is just out of range. Prang darts in trying to clinch and Perry counters with a slapping leg kick. Perry misses with a hook. Prang ducked under it nicely. Prang avoids the head kick by Perry.
Perry works the jab nicely. Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Prang manages to avoid it. Prang looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A leg kick checked by Perry. Perry looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Prang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prang throws a jab but it's blocked by Perry.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Prang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Perry fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Perry throws a looping overhand right but Prang ducks down to avoid it. A left lands for Perry. Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Perry slips a jab from Prang. Prang motions for Perry to come forward. Prang throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Perry connects with an inside leg kick. Perry moves into range and connects with a jab. Perry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Prang. The crowd cheers as Perry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Prang doesn't seem phased though. Prang throws a series of punches but Perry moves out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perry jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Perry avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Commodore Perry is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry thows a left - swing and a miss! Perry looks to land a right hand but Prang moved out of range. Prang pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Prang keeps the fight on the outside. Perry moves away from the strike by Prang. Perry wants to slow Prang down by chopping away at his legs. Prang tried to score with a low kick but Perry checks it. Perry scores with a sloppy right hand. Prang should have avoided that one. Perry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Prang throws out the jab. Perry avoids a punch combination nicely.

Prang misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming. Perry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perry turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Perry lands a lovely overhand right. Perry connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Prang momentarily.

Perry digs a good body shot into Prang's ribs. Prang ducks into a a hook from Perry and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue! Prang is still on wobbly legs! Can Perry finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Prang walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
