PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stackz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koby Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart has chosen "Iron Man" Black Sabbath as his entrance music. The key to victory for Michael Stackz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Stackz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koby Hart!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stackz fails with a takedown attempt.
Stackz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hart circles away.

Hart instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stackz takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Hart is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stackz to keep the fight standing.
Hart wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stackz has him pressed against the cage.
Hart misses with a knee strike.
Hart is trying to break free.
Stackz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Stackz can't break the clinch.

Hart can't get the takedown.
Hart is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stackz is defending well for now.

Michael Stackz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koby Hart.

Stackz turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Stackz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Stackz throws an elbow but Hart slips to the side and avoids it well.
Hart tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stackz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stackz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hart has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stackz but great work by Hart.

You can see the frustration on Stackz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stackz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hart in side control, throwing shots but Stackz defends.
Hart is chipping away with strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stackz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Hart wants to control but Stackz is keeping him busy.
Hart passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Stackz!
Stackz is looking to improve his position but Hart isn't that keen on the idea.

Hart with shots to the head and body - Stackz looks very uncomfortable down there.
Hart throws some wild stikes that Stackz manages to avoid easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hart tries to control but Stackz wriggling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hart with a couple of short strikes.
Stackz is in a horrible position here. Hart smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Koby Hart dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Koby Hart has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hart working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hart moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Hart is looking to take a break and control but Stackz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hart might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stackz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Stackz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hart wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stackz is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hart controlling the position from side mount.
Stackz can't do much from the bottom here.
Hart trying to control the action but Stackz is working from the bottom.

Koby Hart has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Stackz throws a leg kick that misses.
Stackz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stackz wants to clinch but Hart slips to the side
and Hart counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stackz fails in his attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hart is defended easily by Stackz.

Hart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stackz keeps working.

Stackz avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hart.
Stackz is not content to let Hart control the position.
Stackz trying to control but Hart flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Hart somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Hart trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Stackz doesn't escape.

Hart trying to control momentarily.
What can Stackz do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Stackz is trying to defend against the choke here but Hart has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Hart Tightens the hold and Stackz taps out furiously! Hart displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Koby Hart!
Koby Hart was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
