Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Lexsand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lexsand shoots in but Baker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lexsand keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lexsand moves into the clinch.
Baker lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lexsand backwards.
Baker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lexsand gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lexsand has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Baker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lexsand misses with the head strike.
Lexsand pulls guard successfully.
Baker wants to stand but Lexsand has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lexsand wants to control the position but Baker says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Baker fails to land with a series of punches.
Lexsand closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lexsand thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baker's head.
Lexsand wants to take a breather but Baker is having none of it.
Baker tries to kick Lexsand off in order to stand up. Lexsand Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
