Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mirko Raymore Ardona!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diamond closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ardona counters with a left and a right that stings Diamond.
Diamond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ardona swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from Ardona.
Ardona lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diamond circles away quickly and effectively.
Diamond wants to clinch but Ardona slips to the side
and Ardona counters with a nice uppercut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ardona!
Diamond takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Diamond shoots in but no luck this time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ardona throws a head kick that misses.
Diamond throws a push kick but Ardona slaps the foot to one side.
Ardona circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ardona thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diamond if he has to take too many more of those.
Ardona tries to bum rush Diamond with a series of wild strikes but Diamond uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Diamond tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diamond dodges the punch combination from Ardona.
Diamond misses with a takedown attempt - Ardona sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Diamond is breathing heavily.
Diamond takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ardona throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diamond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ardona manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ardona throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diamond tries to clinch but Ardona moves away
and Ardona counters with a one-two to the body.
Diamond is rocked!
Diamond is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Ardona just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Diamond has gone limp and this one is over!
