Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luca Belzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luca Belzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Long Yang! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yang delivers a nice body kick. Yang throws a head kick but Belzer moves out of range.

Belzer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yang did well to prevent Belzer getting side control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Belzer lands a nice short elbow. Yang is trying to get back to full guard. Yang wants to control but Belzer is keeping busy.
Belzer content to control rather than advance. Yang won't allow Belzer to pass to mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yang looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Yang on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yang is trying to stand back up but Belzer is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Yang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Belzer passes to full mount! Belzer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Belzer raining down hammerfists from mount. Belzer breaks from Yang's wrist control and lands an elbow. Yang is looking to improve his position but Belzer isn't that keen on the idea. Belzer avoids the attempt from Yang to control. Belzer putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Belzer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yang looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action! Belzer prevents Yang from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belzer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Belzer cracks Yang with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Belzer wants to control the pace but Yang is squirming around nicely. Belzer with shots to the head and body - Yang looks very uncomfortable down there. Yang can't escape the position.
Yang tries to hold on but Belzer pushes him away. Belzer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Yang?
Belzer looking to finish Yang with some ground and pound. This is bad for Yang! Yang is in a horrible position here. Belzer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Belzer punishing his opponent with strikes. Yang regains half guard. Belzer working Yang over with strikes. Belzer trying to pass the guard but Yang defending well. Yang wants to control but Belzer is keeping busy.
Belzer is looking to take a break and control but Yang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yang actively working from the bottom here. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yang trying to control here.
Yang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Belzer scores with a couple of nice shots. Belzer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Yang! Belzer is landing with some decent strikes but Yang is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yang tries to improve his position but Belzer has taken his back! Belzer has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Yang tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Belzer pushes Yang away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Luca Belzer! An out of breath Luca Belzer thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
