Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Rak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blue Rak! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rak swings widly with a right hand
and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat. Rak throws a lazy right hand but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rak throws a sloppy body shot
and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand. Rak misses with a low kick.
Rak lands a jab-cross combination. Anderson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rak connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anderson scrambles back to his feet. Rak thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rak throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anderson. Rak throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily. Rak throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it. Rak throws a poor cross that misses
and Anderson counters with a left to the body. Rak looks to throw the jab but Anderson is out of range. Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rak throws a jab but it's blocked by Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Rak. Rak throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anderson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rak throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut. Rak shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rak tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rak to the ground. Rak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blue Rak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson walks into a jab. Anderson slips under a jab from Rak. Rak slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Anderson fails with the takedown. Rak wants to land a leg kick but Anderson is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rak misses with a left hand and Anderson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rak swings widly with a right hand
enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab. Rak jabbing away but nothing is landing. No joy there for Rak, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rak stuffs the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson tries for a takedown but Rak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rak waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Blue Rak will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rak tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rak shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rak misses with a hook
and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rak throws a leg kick but Anderson sees it coming and moves out of range. Rak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Anderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Anderson slips a jab from Rak. Rak lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rak misses with a right hand and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Anderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anderson. No luck with that takedown attempt from Anderson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rak misses with an uppercut. Anderson saw that one coming. Anderson shoots in and drives through. Rak sprawls well. Rak misses with a left hand and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut.

and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rak jabbing away but nothing is landing. A swing and a miss from Rak. Anderson leaves Rak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rak lands with an uppercut that bounces Anderson off the cage and back into range. Rak throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range. Rak gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rak is trying to break the clinch but Anderson is controlling him. Anderson has had enough of the clinch but Rak keeps him there for the moment. Anderson wants to break free but Rak has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rak is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Rak's face as he tries to break the clinch. Anderson keeps control of Rak as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Anderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rak scores with a jab to the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andrew Anderson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rak is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Rak circles away and we're back to standing. Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rak tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rak to the ground. Rak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rak sprawls well. Rak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Andrew Anderson is winning the standup battle so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rak falls off balance throwing a combination
and Anderson counters with a right hand to the body. Rak stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Anderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rak but Rak pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rak fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Anderson checks it well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rak misses with a lunging right hand
and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
