Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bocek comes to the cage accompanied by Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. John Maynard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Bocek changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maynard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Maynard is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bocek is controlling him well.

Maynard has one foot on Bocek's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Maynard scores with a head kick. Bocek tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Maynard misses the shot to the body.

Maynard lands a left and a right that send Bocek crashing to the mat, dazed. Maynard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maynard dances in with a quick combination. Bocek is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Maynard snaps Bocek's head back. Bocek stumbles backwards against the cage. Maynard steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bocek's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bocek just didn't come prepared.
