Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Rautner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chandler Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lucas Rautner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lucas Rautner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Rautner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away.
Pierre fails to land the takedown.
Pierre stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pierre wants it to stay on the feet.
Rautner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pierre's waist but Pierre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rautner off to one side.
Pierre shoots for a takedown but Rautner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rautner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rautner.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Rautner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pierre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rautner tries to avoid it but Pierre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rautner to the ground. Rautner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pierre darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rautner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rautner somewhat.
Pierre shoots in looking for a takedown. Rautner tries to sprawl out of it but Pierre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rautner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pierre tries for a takedown but Rautner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Pierre postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rautner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pierre, into his guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rautner throws a series of punches but Pierre avoids them all with ease.

Pierre tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lucas Rautner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chandler Pierre.
Rautner is trying to pull guard but Pierre turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Rautner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pierre can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pierre sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rautner's guard.
Well, if Pierre is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rautner is staying active underneath Pierre, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Chandler Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Rautner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pierre pulls his head out easily.
Pierre thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rautner's head.
Pierre wants to take a breather but Rautner is having none of it.
