Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muniek Ziomek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Muniek Ziomek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renato Sobral!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral tries to bum rush Ziomek with a series of wild strikes but Ziomek uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sobral throws a series of strikes that have Ziomek backpedaling.
It looks like Muniek Ziomek has been cut.
Sobral is looking to slow Ziomek down with leg kicks.
Ziomek tries for a takedown but Sobral sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ziomek with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sobral counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Muniek Ziomek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No luck for Ziomek with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muniek Ziomek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloppy strikes from Sobral. Those never looked like landing.
Sobral throws a good cross that connects.
Sobral lands with an uppercut that bounces Ziomek off the ropes and back into range.

and Sobral makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ziomek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sobral as he avoids it easily.

Sobral scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sobral throws a right hand that Ziomek ducks under and follows up with a left that Ziomek also avoids with ease.

Renato Sobral is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sobral misses with a series of wild punches.
Ziomek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sobral as he jumps to the side.
Ziomek fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sobral avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for Ziomek with that takedown attempt.
Ziomek shoots in but Sobral avoids the takedown attempt easily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ziomek. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab-cross combination lands for Sobral and sends Ziomek crashing to the mat! Sobral follows him down to the mat - Ziomek regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Ziomek is rocked!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sobral wants to stand up but Ziomek has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Ziomek works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ziomek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sobral manages to get himself to full guard.
Ziomek drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ziomek seems to have locked his on tight now - Sobral screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ziomek, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Muniek Ziomek!
Muniek Ziomek spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
