Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Bon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Houston T Nelson Autoshop! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nelson Autoshop paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nelson Autoshop tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice sprawl there from Bon as Nelson Autoshop shoots in. Bon darts in and clinches Nelson Autoshop up against the cage. Nelson Autoshop is trying to push Bon away but Bon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bon is trying to push Nelson Autoshop away but Nelson Autoshop has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Nelson Autoshop escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nelson Autoshop closes the distance looking to clinch so Bon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bon landing with the ground and pound. Bon sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nelson Autoshop for as long as he can get away with. Nelson Autoshop can't keep his opponent in guard - Bon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Nelson Autoshop is in trouble now - Bon has advanced to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bon avoids the attempt from Nelson Autoshop to control. Bon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bon cracks Nelson Autoshop with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nelson Autoshop is looking to escape. Bon raining down hammerfists from mount. Nelson Autoshop looks winded! Bon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bon scoring with strikes but Nelson Autoshop is staying in there. This has been an exciting period of action! Bon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson Autoshop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nelson Autoshop takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Nelson Autoshop is desperately trying to improve his position but Bon has a good base and remains in mount. Bon content just to control the position here. Bon is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bon raining down hammerfists from mount. Bon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Nelson Autoshop is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bon looking to control and managing it successfully. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bon landing strikes from the mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bon looking to secure an arm triangle but Nelson Autoshop defends it well. Bon controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Bon dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bon stuffs the takedown. Bon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bon working the body and head with strikes. Bon decides to stand back up. Bon looks to land a combination but Nelson Autoshop avoids it well. Bon tries to close the distance and clinch but Nelson Autoshop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nelson Autoshop takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nelson Autoshop is rocked! Bon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nelson Autoshop is still in real trouble! Can Bon finish him? Nelson Autoshop is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bon's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson Autoshop tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nelson Autoshop is working an open guard so Bon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bon instigates a clinch. Nelson Autoshop is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Nelson Autoshop to the mat. Nelson Autoshop regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Bon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Nelson Autoshop is working an open guard so Bon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nelson Autoshop tries to sprawl but Bon drives through with a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bon escapes and gets back to his feet. Bon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bon lands in his opponent's guard. Bon content to stall in guard here. Bon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nelson Autoshop can do to turn this around? Bon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jon Bon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bon stands up over Nelson Autoshop, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bon drops back looking for a leg! Nelson Autoshop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nelson Autoshop manages to kick Bon off! Bon jumps back into Nelson Autoshop's guard. Bon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nelson Autoshop's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bon content to control rather than advance. Nelson Autoshop seems to have recovered his senses. Nelson Autoshop wants to get back to full guard. Nelson Autoshop is trying to control but Bon passes into side control!
Bon is putting a hurting on Nelson Autoshop here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bon happy to just control the position for now. Nelson Autoshop can't do much from the bottom here. Bon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. You can see the frustration on Nelson Autoshop's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jon Bon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Bon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nelson Autoshop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bon tries to avoid it but Nelson Autoshop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bon to the ground. Bon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bon showed some decent athleticism there. Nelson Autoshop on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Bon dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bon closes the distance and clinches up with Nelson Autoshop, looking for a takedown. Bon pushes Nelson Autoshop against the cage but Nelson Autoshop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nelson Autoshop tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bon shoots for a takedown but Nelson Autoshop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bon instigates a clinch. Nelson Autoshop swings wildly with an uppercut but Bon uses good head movement to avoid it. Bon has hold of one of Nelson Autoshop's legs. Nelson Autoshop is fighting the takedown attempt but Bon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Bon controls from within his opponent's guard. Nelson Autoshop trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Nelson Autoshop takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bon stops Nelson Autoshop from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bon advances to half guard. Bon is pressing down on Nelson Autoshop's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nelson Autoshop is holding on for now. Bon takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nelson Autoshop is staying active underneath Bon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bon works his way into full mount! Bon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bon is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bon content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bon has control of Nelson Autoshop's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nelson Autoshop regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Houston T Nelson Autoshop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Bon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nelson Autoshop is trying to reverse the position but instead Bon has taken his back - oops!
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Bon showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
